These activities help to develop mental processes that enhance logical and critical thinking, accuracy and problem solving; all of which are important building blocks for primary school readiness. They also enhance the learner’s development and acquisition of basic classification, number and measurement skills during early years.

By the end of the pre-primary education, the learner should be able to: 

a) use acquired classroom skills to solve problems in daily life
